Post 10 (07-11; last one) English Language Challenges
Hello
everybody!
¿What I think about de blogging experience? I
think this activity was very good for the development of written English
practice. Without a doubt, there were some publications that I enjoyed very
much, as well as there were others in which I had no idea, but I could complete
them.
However, this activity meets its objective and
allows you to write about different topics that, maybe, we are “experts”
talking about them in Spanish, but in English, the situation is completely
different. I liked the blogging experience, because it held me to improve my
written skills and improve my vocabulary with the help of some online english dictionaries.
Making an evaluation about my strengths and
weaknesses, I realized that I need to improve my oral skills, maybe, because I
feel a little shy when I have to talk in English and, because I need to take a long time to organize the ideas on my head to make a coherent speech. Unfortunately,
the unique form to improve this is talking, so I will talk in English with my
dogs about anything (jejej). And, in the same way, maybe I could try to make
the exercise to write a question and attempt to answer it in English.
Finally, concerning to the usual use of English
on my daily life, I have to say -to be honest- that I don’t have the habit to
resort this language with frequency, because it's no much the necessity I have to use it. However, I have to recognize the huge important that this language
has for our profession (journalism) and, above all, knowing this language is starting to be used in all corners of the world.
I've seen you speak in classes and I think you are not too shy like you say. The important thing is you dare to participate!
